Who we are

Twin is a second iPhone, set up like yours, that an assistant can use for you. "Twin", "we" and "us" mean the team that runs twindevice.com and the Twin app. "You" means anyone using the site or the app.

This is an early Preview

• The Twin iOS app is an early Preview in internal testing on TestFlight, by invite only.
• Content marked Preview or Sample is illustrative. In this version Twin does not send messages, make calls or make purchases.
• Features can change, pause or be removed while we build Twin. We'll try to tell you before anything important changes.
• The Preview is provided as is, without promises that it will be error-free or always available.

Plans and payments

Twin plans (Spare Room, Move-in and Concierge) are described on our home page. Payments are not in this version, and we won't charge you for anything today. Before any paid plan starts, we'll show you the price, what's included and how to cancel, and ask you to agree first. Those details will be added to this page before payments go live.

Using Twin fairly

• Use Twin only for lawful purposes, and only with phones and accounts you own or are allowed to use.
• Don't use Twin to send spam, harass anyone, or break the rules of the apps and services it touches.
• Don't try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the site or the app.
• You're responsible for what you ask Twin to do, and for keeping your own devices secure.

Your spare iPhone

If you set up a DIY Twin, the spare iPhone and the computer it connects to stay yours and stay in your home. You're responsible for keeping them powered, online and safe. Erasing a spare iPhone removes its data, so back up anything you want to keep first.

Our content

The Twin name, logo, illustrations, site and app belong to us. You may link to twindevice.com, but please don't copy our marks or artwork without asking.

Privacy

Limits of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses from using the Preview, such as lost data, missed deliveries or missed messages. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Twin grows. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the date above. If a change matters, we'll make it clear before it applies to you.
